EARNED A BOOKY AWARD FOR BEST COMP-TITLE FIT

For sixteen years, Katherine Hollsworth knew she didn't belong. She just never imagined how right she was.

Raised by a family that barely notices her, sixteen-year-old Katherine finds freedom in the woods surrounding her Missouri home. Then one night, everything changes. Pain tears through her body, four paws strike the forest floor, and Katherine discovers she can shift into a wolf.

The truth that follows is even harder to believe.

Her real name is Teagan. Her birth parents were murdered. The people who raised her were paid to hide her, and powerful shifters have been waiting for her to come of age.

When Teagan is taken before she can escape, she discovers a hidden world of bloodlines, pack laws, forced alliances, and people who believe her future belongs to them. But rescue brings her to Montana, where family she never knew existed has spent sixteen years searching for her and a shifter community near Yellowstone offers something she has never truly had.

A place to belong.

Yet belonging comes with its own dangers. Old enemies have not forgotten Teagan's bloodline, and the secrets surrounding her parents reach deeper than anyone realized.

For the first time in her life, Teagan has a family worth fighting for.

And this time, no one is taking her away.

Shifters of Yellowstone is a coming-of-age paranormal fantasy about hidden identities, wolf shifters, found family, dangerous bloodlines, and discovering that home can be something you choose.

Perfect for fans of Patricia Briggs’s shifter communities and T.J. Klune’s hopeful found-family stories, with belonging, second chances, and a gentler approach to shifter fantasy.

We were drawn to "The Wolves of Yellowstone:" an imaginative, heartfelt journey that blends shifter mythology, resilience, and found family against the breathtaking backdrop of Yellowstone. The emotional arc of Teagan's discovery of her true self and belonging resonated deeply with us.

The Wolves of Yellowstone is a thrilling, heartfelt adventure of Teagan's journey of self-discovery, courage, and transformation. It kept me hooked from start to finish. With stunning landscapes, rich shifter lore, and unforgettable characters, this story delivers the perfect mix of suspense, romance, and hope. An absolute must read!

From the first chapter, I knew this was something special. The author paints Yellowstone like a living, breathing character - wild, mysterious, and full of secrets. The relationships between the characters felt real and meaningful, and I loved the story balanced myth with modern emotion. 10/10 recommend.

Wow! Just wow. I started The Wolves of Yellowstone before bed and ended up reading until 3 a.m. because I had to know what happened next. Teagan's story is full of twists, heart, and courage. The wolf shifter lore was so unique, and the Yellowstone setting made it feel cinematics. I'm officially obsessed!

From the first page, I was completely hooked. The Wolves of Yellowstone delivers everything I love in a paranormal adventure; mystery, heart, and just the right amount of danger.

Teagan's journey of self-discovery is raw and empowering, and the Yellowstone setting is described so vividly it feels like you're running through the forests with her. A must-read for fans of strong heroines and found-family stories.

The Wolves of Yellowstone is a thrilling and emotional tale that explores the power of resilience, love, and the unbreakable bonds forged between individuals in the face of adversity. Readers will be captivated by Teagan’s extraordinary story as she fights to overcome her past and create a brighter future for herself 4 those around her. Trust me, you’ll love it.🥰👌🏽

If you think you've read every werewolf or shifter book out there - think again. The Wolves of Yellowstone stands out because of its emotional depth and sense of community. The relationships feel genuine, the stakes are high, and Teagan's courage shines through every page. It's not just a supernatural story, it's about belonging, identity, and resilience. I'm already begging for a sequel!

Everything about this book works. The pacing is fast but never rushed and the emotional beats hit hard. I loved the theme of found family and the way Teagan learns to trust her instincts. It's one of those stories that stays with you long after you finish it. I'm already recommending it to all my friends!

The characters felt like people first and shifters second. Even with the paranormal elements, they still had responsibilities, relationships, and everyday concerns which made it much easier to invest in them.
I also liked that the wilderness wasn't just there to provide scenery. It constantly shaped the choices the characters had to make, so the danger felt like a natural part of the story rather than something added just to raise the stakes.
What stayed with me most, though, was that the survival challenges never seemed to exist just to test whether the characters could make it through. They also revealed who those characters were when the pressure was the highest, and that gave the story more emotional weight than I was expecting.
If you enjoy shifter fiction that feels grounded in real people, real decisions, and a setting that genuinely matters, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a read.

Shifters of Yellowstone is a wonderful story about family, both biological and adopted. Katherine Hollsworth/Teagan always felt different from her family growing up. She didn't look like them and her mother and father always treated her different from the rest of her siblings. The only one who treated her like true family was her older brother, Daniel.
Then in her sixteenth year, her world changes and she learns not only who she is, but who are the ones who truly love her.
I love the supernatural lore with the shifters. West describes Teagan's first shift in such a descriptive way. I also love her relationship with Daniel and Bear. It shows that what matters is not necessarily blood, but the fact that someone chooses to love you every day.
West goes very deep into pack life, and the building of Teagan's parents dream which might not be for everyone. I love that the central theme is the importance of love and caring for each other.
Shifters of Yellowstone is an enjoyable read and you will come to love the family Teagan builds for herself among the shifter community. You won't be able to put this down.

Shifters of Yellowstone is a wonderful story revolving around biological found family. It is an emotional rollercoaster with Teagan, Daniel, and Bear. Great read for anyone that likes Fantasy/Shifter stories.
