I’m excited to share that "The Lost White Tiger: Jungle Queen of Halos" has received a Booky Award for Most Hopeful Read.
This story has always been close to my heart. At its center is Alais, a young girl whose life changes when she discovers she is not only different but connected to a royal legacy she never knew existed. Her journey takes her from the familiar safety of the jungle to the uncertainty of palace halls, where every choice carries weight and every truth changes what she thought she knew about herself.
What makes this award especially meaningful is the category: **Most Hopeful Read**. Alais’s story is about fear, discovery, courage, and learning that strength does not always come from being ready. Sometimes it comes from stepping forward even when you are unsure.
The Booky Awards also highlighted the emotional resonance of one of my favorite moments from the book:

A Fantasy Adventure that Completely Pulled Me In!
I went into The Lost White Tiger expecting an entertaining fantasy adventure, but I wasn't expecting to become so emotionally invested in Alais's journey. By the end of the book, I felt like I had traveled beside her through every heartbreak, discovery, and impossible revelation.
One of the things I loved most was how alive the Whispering Woods felt. The opening scenes with Alais and Sonis hunting together in the jungle immediately drew me in.
Then what broke my heart was Sonis's reaction. After years of friendship and trust, seeing him flinch and instinctively reach for his bow when he realizes she's a white tiger hit hard. I also loved how the tory gradually reveals that Alais's transformation is connected to something much larger.
The chapter's set in Castle Halos were equally compelling. King Eroin's reaction when he hears the name "Alais" was one of my favorite moments in the books.
If you enjoy fantasy filled with shifters, hidden royalty, political intrigue, and strong emotional character development, The Lost White Tiger is a fantastic start to what promises to be an epic series. 5 Stars!!
The Lost White Tiger stood out to me because it balances fantasy adventure with a deeper story about identity and belonging. What I like most about Alais's journey is that her transformation is not just about gaining power - it forces her to question everything she knows about herself and where she truly belongs.
The moment in the scared grove when Alais's shifter form is revealed was one of the most memorable parts of the story for me. Seeing her become a white tiger instead of the form everyone expected changes the meaning of her entire life. Both a gift and burden.
The contract between Chars and Castle Halos also worked well. Alais knows the jungle - the freedom, dangers, and instincts that shaped her - but the world of royalty requires a different kind of strength.
Overall, The Lost White Tiger is an engaging fantasy about hidden truths, courage, and self-discovery. Alais's journey from the jungle to the throne feels like a story about becoming more than what the world expects you to be.
