Sleepers of Earth

They trained for years to build humanity’s first settlement on another world. They never imagined waking to a world that no longer belonged to humanity.

Captain Ta’lor Davidson and the crew of Calypso earned the right to go first. Their mission is simple: enter cryosleep, rendezvous with the massive transport Thor, cross the stars, and wake on Boxuyama ready to build the foundation for a new human colony.

But when Ta’lor opens her eyes, something is terribly wrong.

Calypso is buried beneath vines. Its systems are failing. Thor is gone. The other cruisers are missing. Outside waits a lush and dangerous wilderness filled with unfamiliar creatures, intelligent primates, and predators that hunt with disturbing purpose.

Then the crew discovers they have been asleep far longer than anyone intended.

As Ta’lor searches for the missing teams and pieces together the remains of their mission, every answer leads to a more impossible question. What happened while they slept? Where did Thor go? And if humanity is no longer the dominant species, what place is left for the people who have suddenly returned?

They were trained to build a new world.
