The world ended in ash, but Moon Dancer is still rising.
After the asteroid sickness wiped out most of humanity, former Army K-9 handler Krys Day has helped turn an isolated desert lodge into a refuge for children, survivors, dogs, and anyone still willing to fight for something better.
But survival is no longer only about food, water, and walls.
As Moon Dancer grows, so do its responsibilities. Krys, Josh, and their team rescue orphaned children, discover hidden survivors, build alliances with a nearby farm, and train teenagers to use drones, radios, and security skills in a world where danger can appear on any road.
Some threats come from outside the gates. Others arrive broken, grieving, and impossible to save in time.
With wild dogs roaming abandoned towns, biker gangs still somewhere beyond the highways, and winter approaching, Moon Dancer must become more than a safe place. It must become a community strong enough to protect the future.
